Biographical Information
Dr. R. Joel Farrell II is trained as a professional counselor, an educational psychologist and a minister. He holds the Doctor of Philosophy (1996) in counselor education and supervision with a specialty in educational psychology from Auburn University. Dr. Farrell also holds a masters of education (1992) in counseling with a specialty in student development from Auburn University and a masters of science (1989) in religion from Southern Christian University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor by the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling and a National Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Dr. Farrell currently serves as an Associate Professor and Marriage and Family Program Coordinator at Faulkner University. He serves as a consultant and speaker to corporations, churches, ministries and organizations. Dr. Farrell conducts seminars, workshops, and meetings on a wide variety of counseling, family, and spiritual issues. He also provides individual, couples, family and group counseling on a wide range of issues through Life Skills Counseling.
